The National Science Museum is the national all-round science museum that displays 4,000 items of science and technology materials according to the history of nature, natural science and technology, researches, and studies them for educating visitors. The museum aims at helping visitors understand the mystery of the nature and the principle of science technology, and the harmony of nature, humans and science.

Daejeon Observatory is the first citizen observatory that performs the open observation for visitors. In the daytime visitors can observe the Sun and in the nighttime, they can see the Moon, Nebula and the Galaxy. Thus, the observatory is the place where they meet with various kinds of astronomical world.
