The Yuseong Hot Spring has been an excellent resource of tourism since ancient times, as its use of boiled underground water through the subterranean heat of a volcanic zone. The boiled hot spring is for more than bathing; it attracts visitors from in and out of the country providing various functions as a place for medical treatment, recuperation, and relaxation while raising the desire of tourism in the public.

The mineral water of Yuseong is the one that is generated in the granite fragmental zone of fault situated between 50∼400m. Along with the fractured fault plane, hot water ranging from 27~5℃ gushes out from 200m underground.

The water contains about 60 kinds of dynamic elements, and its superior quality that is intact against heavy metallic substances has won worldwide reputation as a weak alkali simple spring with pH level of 7.5∼8.5.
