Yuseong Yes Festival
Yuseong yes festival is held every year. Various programs based on health and Yuseong’s agricultural and special products, along with the characteristics of Yuseoung spa and Daedeok Science Town, are preceded. This is held in September and October every year.
- Performances(Health ballet)
- Dancing based on old story related to spa : focused on history and origin of Yuseoung spa.
- Health dance of Daedeok Valley : Remake of traditional dance to modern dance style on the basis of expression of feeling and pleasure of traditional dance and consideration of human body’s motion. Designing health condition, along with dance by adding suitable motion to each part of human body.
- Traditional performance : Jeongmingdong bier rehearsal, Wootdari farm music performance
- The others : military band’s parade, rehearsal of traditional wedding
- Experience Event
- Enjoy health theme public bath (herb bath, rose bath, Chinese herb medicine bath, mugwort bath, Ginseng bath). You can also enjoy Health Checkup, sap, dyeing traditional clothes, traditional health plays, and quiz show.
The Book Festival
In order to suggest the ideal image of reading, which allows coexistence of tradition and the future, share information and culture, and provide a field to experience the joyfulness of reading, various events, such as "Dance Performance", "the Book Cafe called Hue", "This Amusing Festival", "It's Really the Same! (Making a Clay Doll)", "Making the Peninsula of Korea", "Make a Bud of Book Tree Out with Wisdom!", "The Street of Books", "The Captain of Reading Puzzle", "Let's Have Fun with the Traditional Plays Together!'", etc, are prepared in the festival.
The festival is held from May to June of every year.
The Ipop Flower Festival
In the blooming season of the Ipop tree in May, is a festival of Yusrong Culture Center that aims to express the vitality and image of spring to promote harmony of the people in Yusrong District and the well-being of the Yusrong hot spring.
